The workshop that takes linguists and experimental philosophers to the ski slopes was held February 23–27 2007, on the mountaintop Szrenica, Poland. You can see the programme, and a collection of photos.
The workshop aims to bring together linguists, philosophers, logicians, and all others interested in the semantics and pragmatics of natural language. This year the theme is Lexical Concepts (broadly conceived). As usual, this ‘hot topic’ should not exclude submissions on other subjects, for instance descriptive analyses of the syntax, semantics, and pragmatics of natural language; theoretical properties of pragmasemantic theories; philosophical foundations; and approaches to cultural evolution and learning. We prefer new and original ideas, even if the material is not fully ripe and the presentation still tentative.
Deadline for submissions: Jan 8th.
Notification of acceptance: Jan 23rd.
Workshop: February 23rd to 27th.
